Driving Tips for a Hoon to Work On and Improve
When a lot of people first get their car license, the first thing they feel is an immense amount of freedom. Not only are they no longer dependent on their parents to drive them around, but they also are in control of something with power. Human instincts tempt everyone to see how much power really is under the hood of the car, which is what causes people to push the speed limit. Once people have mastered the speeding aspect of driving, they begin to get a little bored, and they begin to try do stunts like they see on television, such as donuts and drifting. Most people are going to get caught by law enforcement, whether it be a speeding ticket or a careless driving citation. There are several things that a hoon needs to work on to improve their driving skills.
Two Hands on the Wheel
While it is not considered the coolest way to drive, it has been
statistically proven that drivers should always have two hands on the
wheel. When people look at the best drivers in the world, race car
drivers, they will notice that they have their hands placed between 9
and 3 or 10 and 2. These positions allow the driver to negotiate turns
more precisely and have better overall control of the vehicle.
The Difference Between Real-Life and Movies
Many people watch movies, and they are tempted to try some of the stunts
they see in the movies. The actors portrayed in these stunts are
actually not driving the car, instead it is a professionally-trained
stunt driver. In addition, cars are not capable of pulling off those
movie stunts in tight spaces.
The Speed Limit
A lot of people believe that the speed limit is a stupid recommendation
for how fast people should drive. While this may make for a funny joke,
the speed limit should actually be followed by everyone. Speeding does
not save that much time, and it can result in an expensive ticket, or
worse it can injure someone.
Hoons can use these tips to improve their driving skills. They may not
have as much fun behind the wheel, but they will probably appreciate the
extra money in their bank account. In addition, no one wants to know
that injured or killed someone, because of their reckless driving
habits.
